The official application of the Air Force Meteorological Service (www.meteoam.it) provides forecast weather information relating to the national territory.

Feedback Mechanism

To send reports on cases of non-compliance with accessibility requirements, a specific report can be sent directly to the e-mail address: [email protected].

In the email you must indicate:

· - name and surname,

· - email address,

· - URL of the web page or sections of the site subject to the report,

· - clear and concise description of the problem encountered,

· - tools used (operating system, browser, assistive technologies).

The Meteo Aeronautica application is designed to provide the user with the following features:

• Personalized home page with the possibility of inserting up to four favorite locations

• Geolocalized forecasts based on the location of the device

• Hourly forecasts for up to five days of the main meteorological parameters - state of the sky, precipitation, humidity, pressure and wind

• Satellite images in animation

Intense phenomena

• Indication on the availability of reports of intense phenomena

• Possibility to enable notifications for reports of intense phenomena

Map

• Forecast map for Italy with animations on the evolution of different atmospheric parameters in time and space (precipitation, wind, cloud cover, etc)

• Point forecasts throughout the national territory

Explore

• Information section with multimedia content such as videos, podcasts and satellite image animations

• Ability to enable notifications for each new multimedia content published

Preferences

• Setting 4 favorite locations

• Enabling geolocation of the device

• Enabling and customizing notifications
